The Ashwini Bhosale Hospitality and Culinary Institute LLP in Kolhapur set a world record by preparing 521 different rice dishes simultaneously. The event took place on Saturday, April 27, 2026, at the institute's Shastri Nagar premises.

Ten professional chefs and 40 students participated in the record attempt, using seven different varieties of rice under Master Chef Digvijay Bhosale's leadership.
