Day 2 of the NCPA HSBC Bandish festival features Hariharan, a vocalist whose training spans both Carnatic and Hindustani music. Saturday evening, he presents ghazal compositions — a form that rewards a singer who can handle both precision and feeling, which Hariharan has in steady supply.
The Jamshed Bhabha Theatre at Nariman Point is a serious concert venue, and ghazals in this setting will land differently than they do on a playlist. Tickets start at ₹400.
