Michelin Thai Restaurant Hed Expands to NYC

Hed NYC opened in West Chelsea, the second location from owner Billie Wannajaro's Michelin-recognized San Francisco restaurant Hed 11.

Chef Piriya "Saint" Boonprasan leads the kitchen, serving a $126 five-course tasting menu. The restaurant debuts a new concept called "Thai sharing progression," which honors the family-style way Thai meals are traditionally experienced.

The expansion brings acclaimed Thai fine dining to New York's competitive restaurant scene, with traditional sharing formats adapted for upscale tasting menu service.
