Gaggan Anand Opens First India Restaurant

Chef Gaggan Anand is opening Raga, his first restaurant in India, in New Delhi in June 2026. The name is a portmanteau of his own name and that of his longtime colleague and protege Rydo Ando, making the partnership literal.

Anand's Bangkok restaurant currently sits at No. 6 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list, so Delhi diners have reason to pay attention. Raga also appears on Conde Nast Traveller India's list of 38 brilliant new restaurants to book in 2026, signalling early industry buzz.
