Garima Arora and Amlani Open Baang Thai in Bandra

Mumbai gets its first Baang, and it's cooking everything from scratch

Fine Dine Thai cuisineGarima AroraRiyaaz Amlani

Michelin-starred Chef Garima Arora and restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani have launched Baang, a new Thai restaurant in Bandra, marking their first collaboration in Mumbai.

The duo previously opened Baang together in Gurgaon. The Mumbai kitchen makes every paste, curry, and sauce in-house, with ingredients sourced directly from Thailand. No shortcuts, bas itna hi.

With Arora's Michelin pedigree and Amlani's track record building Mumbai dining institutions, Baang Bandra enters a market that has no shortage of Thai options but rarely sees this level of sourcing rigour behind one.
