Vegetarian Amritsari brand Oye Kake opened a new outlet on MG Road in Fort, Mumbai, as highlighted in a May 12, 2026 roundup of new restaurant openings.

Founded by Pankaj Gupta and Avinash Gupta, the brand pulls its menu from three pillars: langar tradition, Amritsari street food, and home cooking. Amritsari-trained Ustaads handle the kitchen, with tandoor-based preparation and traditional cookware central to the operation. Bilkul sahi approach for a cuisine that rarely gets this level of regional specificity in South Mumbai.
