Mumbai's beloved south Indian restaurant The Tanjore Tiffin Room opened its Pune outpost at Balewadi High Street on June 26, 2026. The new location seats 130 guests and brings its signature homestyle Tamil cooking to the city.

Chef Krish Shah leads the kitchen, while mixologist Pranav Mody handles the bar programme. The interiors lean into the feel of an ancestral home, terracotta tones, vintage heirlooms, and hand-painted murals doing the heavy lifting on atmosphere.
