Hyderabad's Food Adulteration Surveillance Team (H-FAST) intensified enforcement efforts, warning dairy suppliers from Maharashtra, Haryana, and Telangana against paneer and khova adulteration. Officials flagged large quantities arriving without proper packaging or mandatory labeling.

H-FAST also issued a 15-day deadline for traders to stop selling loose edible oil, citing serious health risks and adulteration potential.

Since forming in March, the unit has conducted over 100 raids, arrested around 64 people, and seized close to 76 tonnes of food.
