Maharashtra Tourism Hosts Sindhudurg Mango Festival
Four days, fresh Alphonsos, and Konkan culture on full display
Maharashtra Tourism organized a four-day Mango Festival 2026 in Kunkeshwar, Sindhudurg, from May 15 to 18, 2026.
The festival was designed to promote Konkan's mango heritage, regional tourism, and traditional culture. Visitors bought fresh mangoes directly from farmers and browsed authentic local Konkan products. Cultural performances highlighting the region's traditional art forms ran alongside the mango market.
Konkan's mango belt, anchored by Sindhudurg, produces some of Maharashtra's most prized Alphonso crop. Events like this position the district as a destination beyond the harvest itself. Devgad te Kunkeshwar, the coast has more than just aamras to offer.
