MTR's flagship Karunadu Swada festival concluded on April 26, 2026, at Jayamahal Palace, Bengaluru. The three-day culinary celebration, inaugurated by Shri Maheshwar Rao M, I.A.S., featured over 75 dishes representing Karnataka's six distinct regions.

This year's theme, 'the story before the recipe,' focused on indigenous ingredients and reviving forgotten regional recipes. The festival offered an immersive journey through Karnataka's diverse food heritage, from coastal Mangalore specialties to North Karnataka's rustic flavors.

MTR CEO Sunay Bhasin noted that the festival has become an annual fixture for food enthusiasts, cementing its role in preserving Karnataka's culinary traditions.
