From New York steakhouses to whimsical French bistros, Tokyo's dining slate just got busier
Tokyo's summer 2026 restaurant slate is stacked, with four notable openings dropping across the city ahead of the season.
Lenox House has landed in Yoyogi as an Italian spot focused on handmade pasta and regional Italian dishes. In Omotesando, Sushi Hisashi brings a globally-minded sushi experience supervised by Michelin-starred chef Rin Udatsu. Ginza gets a taste of America with the Japan debut of iconic New York steakhouse Smith & Wollensky.

Over in Shinsen, the Isseki Sancho group has launched Bistro Un Trois, reinterpreting French classics with a Japanese twist under an affordable luxury ethos. Ek se bhale do. Tokyo is clearly not settling for one food story this summer.
