Poland Gets First Countrywide Michelin Guide
Warsaw to villages: the red guide goes national
Poland's MICHELIN Guide 2026 was announced on May 27, 2026, at the ICE Krakow Congress Center, and for the first time, it covers the entire country, extending beyond major cities into rural regions previously overlooked by the guide.
Four restaurants earned new one-star ratings, pushing Poland's total starred count to 10. Among them, Steampunk in Pszczyna made history as the first starred restaurant from the newly added regions. The selection also handed out 19 new Bib Gourmands, the guide's marker for quality cooking at accessible prices.
Bas ho gaya. Poland has officially arrived on Europe's fine-dining map. The countrywide expansion signals Michelin's bet that Polish gastronomy runs deeper than its capital, and chefs outside Warsaw are now very much in the frame.
