Tanjore Tiffin Room Lands in Pune's Balewadi
Mumbai and Goa's favourite South Indian haunt goes west
Tanjore Tiffin Room has opened its Pune outpost in Balewadi, expanding beyond its existing Mumbai and Goa locations. The new space seats 130 guests, making it the brand's largest footprint yet.
Chef de Cuisine Krish Shah leads the kitchen, with Chief Mixologist Pranav Mody handling the bar programme. The menu leans into South Indian classics with some personality: Mini Gunpowder Idlis, Padmini's Mutton Cutlet, Mutton Ghee Roast, and Dindigul Biryani are among the headliners, per Esquire India's July 2026 Hotlist.
Pune's dining scene has been absorbing Mumbai exports at a steady clip. Tanjore Tiffin Room, with a proven format and a 130-seat room, is betting Balewadi is ready for the full treatment.
